I know what it feels like to struggle with figuring out all the business & admin things that go along with content creation.
A decade ago, I was right where you are.
And in 2017, I went full time as a content creator. But not without challenges. There's no college offering a major in influencing, no course out there that tells you how to actually do the business and admin things that come with a full time content career.
I realized there was something big missing in the online education space, so I made it my mission to create a new framework & community just for influencers looking to scale their business.

I grew up in Wisconsin but graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a BA in Advertising, a BA in Art and a minor in Psychology.

My now-husband, Robin, and I couldn’t stand cold winters anymore so we packed up our tiny car & drove across the country to San Francisco.
I’d never been to the city before, but already knew it felt like home. I quickly got working in marketing for a startup.
Feb 2015
On a whim, I decided to start a blog, Whimsy Soul.
I wanted a creative outlet as I navigated my new life, and one of my first ever Instagram posts was an #ootd taken on the streets of San Francisco.
July 2017
After unexpectedly getting laid off from my Silicon Valley job, I challenged myself to “make it” as a full-time influencer by the end of the year.
And it worked. By 2018 I hired my husband to work full time with me and by 2019 I’ve been making well over 6 figures a year via Whimsy Soul.
Nov 2022
After traveling the world as a travel creator, I dreamed of creating a place for fellow travelers to make memories. So, we bought a cabin in Arnold, CA and spent all of 2023 renovating it.
Within 3 months of launching Whimsy Homes, we earned Superhost and Guest Favorite status, and have been featured in publications like Dwell and CNTraveler.

I had an ephiniy: I really love helping my fellow creators build awesome businesses. Nothing makes me happier than cheering others on for their wins.
So, I started working on the Whimsy School for Creators, and the rest is history.
I believe that every creator everyone deserves success
And have spent the last 8 years helping countless influencrs just like you to achieve financial stability and build a content business (not just a fan page).
