I won't lie - the first reason switched my email marketing platform for my blog, Whimsy Soul, to Flodesk was the pricing. It's just one flat rate no matter how much you grow.

If you sell digital products, you're going to love the Checkout offer (example). Now, you can sell digital products right from Flodesk, and of course have them collect emails for you. 

Flodesk pricing is for normal emails and you will have to pay extra for Checkouts but it's worth it, especially compared to the cost of hosting your products on other sites like Shopify or Kajabi. 

Kajabi, for instance, makes you upgrade your product tier if you add more than 3 products into your suite. I did the math and I save hundreds of dollars a year by hosting my freebies and low-cost digital products on Flodesk checkouts.

Are you tired of paying for another Link In Bio tool? Flodesk has their own link in bio feature now! You can put an email form at the top of the link, which is a great spot to include your lead magnet or put a sale. This helps collect emails from visitors. 

Then, below, you can input links to your popular content, new blog posts, Amazon shop, LTK page, etc. Best part? It's totally free to use if you have the paid plan. 

9. Link Tracking With Grow Me Is Here

As a blogger who uses Mediavine, I was thrilled with Grow Me and Flodesk partnered together to finally offer authenticated traffic link tracking with emails. 

Authenticated tracking helps Google understand a little more about the person clicking on the link, which makes advertisers and brands more confident in spending money on your site. This means higher RPMs and thus more money as a blogger!

One of the latest features they just launched was Template Sharing which is honestly such a game changer.

Now, you can bypass all the other steps and easily apply your brand fonts, sizing and colors to emails. This has helped streamline making new emails to the point it takes me just minutes when it used to take me almost an hour. 

12. Tagging Names

I was annoyed at Flodesk for the longest time since they didn't offer the ability to tag unique names to readers, but they finally added this feature in and it helps so much with open rates!

Now, you can format email blasts to address a reader by their name (ie "Hey Kara!") and have it automatically switch to something neutral if you never collected the person's name. 

Using a custom name helps increase open rates since Google will think it's an email from a real person, versus an email marketing blast, and put it in the main inbox. 

13. Forms Are Easy To Embedded In Your Blog Or Website
