FREE Influencer Media Kit Template Download To Skyrocket Paid Deals
Feb 10, 2025If you're an influencer/content creator who works with brands on paid campaigns, you NEED a good media kit to showcase all you can offer.
A good influencer kit can literally make or break a deal for you with potential brand partners, and can mean the difference between getting lowballed on your rate, or being offered more than you could ever imagine.
I've been a content creator for over a decade and have spent the past 10 years fine-tuning the perfect influencer media kit design to maximize pitching and brand deal paychecks.
You can download my FREE media kit template here, but also keep reading for tips on what to include in your kit to stand out.
A Media Kit Is Basically An Influencer's Elevator Pitch
When a content creator wants to pass along information about themselves to a brand, it's common practice to send over a media kit deck.
A media kit is basically an elevator pitch where an influence can show off themselves and their services to potential brand partners.
Sometimes a brand reaches out to a creator and knows for sure they want to hire them, but other times they are scouting the creator to see if they would be a good fit for a campaign. That's why the best influencer media kit is one that SELLS the influencer and makes the brand want to hire them.
Kind of like a dating profile, but for professionals.
Influencer Media Kits Shouldn't Be Just One Page
The biggest mistake I see other influencers make is when they create a kit that is literally one page long and only includes their name and basic social media stats.
Let's be real here - every brand can easily find your Instagram follower count in 2 seconds. They didn't need to download your PDF to learn that number. You're wasting your time if you do that.
But they do maybe want to know your engagement rate, or case studies and they absolutely want to learn more about your personal brand.
Your Media Kit Should Include These 5 Things:
Your kit should be more than a single page. Consider adding at least these 5 things:
1. Your personal brand information
Brands want to get to know YOU, not just your follower count. Include information about where you live, if you're married, have pets or children.
Add in details that help you stand out, like if you're queer or First Generation, or have a unique skill that makes you an authority on a specific topic. Think of this part like a mini dating profile!
2. Metrics about your community + followers
Audience demographics are a key metric brands love to see when casting for influencer marketing campaigns. Go beyond just HOW many followers you have and also include insights about your followers.
Where do they live? What's their age range? Gender? Include things you can gather from polls or educated guesses based on your content (ie, are they mostly new mothers since you post mothering content? do they like to travel since you post about travel? maybe you can make a poll to see how many of them own pets and include that in your media kit).
3. Social media stats
Include stats from all of your channels, not just your Instagram or main channel! Highlight your total reach along with a breakdown of each channel to include followers, engagement rate and total likes.
Possible channels you could have are:
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Email newsletter (grab my free influencer template here)
- Twitch
- Threads
- X / Twitter
- Rewardstyle / LTK
- Amazon Storefront
- Podcast
- Website / Blog
Yes, include all of them!! You never know when a brand is looking to cast an influence on niche, specific channels.
4. Examples of your content in action
I know you have been creating content for brands, so make sure you showcase that in your media kit! Include case studies and examples of times your content went viral or really influenced people.
Show off your pretty images, or your viral videos. Link to content that made hundreds of people want to buy the item you were talking about.
This is the place to make brands fall in love with the way you sell branded content. Make it easy for them to envision themselves on this page as a future success brand case study.
5. Follower Testimonials
Creators who use testimonials always stand out with their media kit. Start by including quotes from your community (grab screenshots of comments or DMs) but when you feel comfortable, ask the businesses you hire you for quotes to include.
Nothing says social proof more than a testimonial from a past brand partner!
